Department of Public Safety (DPS) Headquarters tour-August 25, 2025

This tour was scheduled for Monday August 25 at 1 p.m. for OPNA residents. There was a limit of 15 people only in each tour.

This was a 45-minute tour, where an officer guided us to various units in department-records, desk officer station, jail, report writing room, briefing room and dispatch center. It was an informative, engaging and valuable experience that offered great insight into the day-to-day operations, responsibilities, and dedication required to serve and protect our community. All participants in the tour were impressed by the professionalism and hospitality shown by everyone. The opportunity to see the various departments, learn about the technology used in law enforcement, and hear directly from officers was both educational and inspiring. It deepened our appreciation for the work DPS staff does every day to keep our community safe.
