Agenda:

1. SNAP Team (Sunnyvale Neighborhoods Actively Prepare) would like to bring the neighborhood disaster response program to Ortega Park Neighborhood. Also discuss a program called “Map Your Neighborhood” (MYN), where neighbors get to know each other, learn a 9-Step Disaster Response plan tailored to their block, and share information about each other that would be useful in a disaster response.
2. CalRCV: California Ranked Choice Voting CoalitionIn April, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors will consider a proposal to use Ranked Choice Voting in future elections. CalRCV would like to give a presentation to our group to discuss what Ranked Choice Voting is, how it works, what the advantages are, and answer any questions.
3. County of Santa Clara, Department of Public Health is interested in giving a brief presentation and share information about drug and alcohol prevention, including growing concerns about emerging substances.
4. Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) would like to discuss VTA’s Speed & Reliability Program aimed at improving transit speed and reliability in Santa Clara County.
